Kim joined JLB+ Partners as global business director in 2010 after more than 25 years in leadership positions at two of Chicago’s largest advertising agencies. After a year in a new business role, Kim transitioned to client consulting, where she has focused on agency search, agency architecture optimization and performance evaluation engagements with clients including Walmart, Sam’s Club, State Farm, Amway, the Alzheimer’s Association and many others.
A former agency SVP Group Management Director, Kim brings extensive experience with global account organization and management. On the agency side, assignments included SC Johnson, Diners Club International and Haier (one of China’s largest companies) as well as McDonald’s, General Mills, Anheuser-Busch and the Clorox Company. Kim also served as Director of Marketing for a Dallas-based technology company from startup through their IPO and secondary.
Kim attended St. Olaf College and DePaul University School of Law. She has been a guest lecturer on global marketing and advertising at Kellogg School of Management and DePaul University and has served as a frequent coach/trainer on agency relationship best practices for our JLB+P clients.
